CREATE YOUR FUTURE
START SCHOOL REMOTELY. RETURN TO CAMPUS SAFELY.In-person instruction is temporarily on hold due to COVID-19 safety guidelines. All new students will begin classes remotely through our Learning Management System (LMS), Zoom and other video communication and web collaboration platforms. We have adjusted our courses so you will begin with your theory-based classes first and then move into more hands-on production courses once we are allowed to return to campus. This means you can start your degree program now without worrying about missing out on our equipment, production stages, editing labs and recording studios. Thank you for helping us stay safe!
ABOUT OUR FILM PROGRAM
Each step of your journey brings new knowledge and proficiency. As you travel along the way, you’ll build the skills necessary to produce a film from start to finish. You’ll develop your storytelling with classes like:
Directing: Learn techniques for working with actors, casting and composition and how to work in every area of directing – from pre-production to critical evaluation.
Cinematography: Discover how to support the mood of the story with lighting choices while familiarizing yourselves with the various cameras you’ll use throughout the degree program.
Digital Editing: Develop essential skills and good editing habits, along with an understanding and appreciation of the role of editing in the storytelling process.
GRAB YOUR GEAR
We believe creative minds need creative spaces, that’s why our class environments are designed to emulate real-world production facilities. In addition, when it’s time to start, you need to be ready. That’s why we make sure you’re prepared with a constructive Techkit, including a retina display MacBook laptop loaded with industry software so you can learn on the same tools the pros use.*
Our alumni are in the industry doing amazing things! Whether acting in and directing their own series or working on projects for companies like Disney or brands like Marvel, they are building their place in the industry.
